The Pikes Peak Derby Dames is the first flat track roller derby league in Colorado Springs founded in 2005. PPDD is affiliated with the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the international governing body of the women’s flat track roller derby. PPDD is currently ranked in the top 40 of WFTDA teams. Their mission is to foster athleticism, personal empowerment, and community relationships through playing and promoting the fast‐paced, hard‐hitting, competitive sport of women’s flat track roller derby. They are seeking a highly motivated, community‐minded intern to help promote the PPDD mission within the Colorado Springs region, while assisting in fundraising, sponsorship, and public relations.
